CASSANDRA ULRICH
Born on St. Croix, Cassandra Ulrich allowed her imagination and day dreams to flourish. She has published A Beautiful Girl, Love’s Intensity, Billiard Buddies, Adelle and Brandon: Friends for Life, Zale’s Tale (short story in Beach Life), Battle at Kitee (Mad Scientist Sci Fi Writing Contest semi-finalist, a short story), If It Kills Me, Danny R.O.S.S., and four poetic compilations. South Jersey Writers Group named Cassandra Ulrich the 2018 Writer of the Year.
AMBER KUSCHING
Named "one of South Jersey's most versatile theatre gurus," Amber is a New Jersey based producing playwright and theatre artist who has written over 50 playscripts and has have over 30 productions of her plays throughout New York City, Philadelphia and New Jersey. Amber is also a member of the Dramatist Guild of America, the International Centre for Women Playwrights, and is a regional reviewer for BroadwayWorld.com
RACHEL PARSONS
Rachel is a poet and short story writer who also dabbles in theatre, serving as a dramaturge for several of Amber’s plays: The Hourglass, Linger, and most recently, Oz.org. With experience in the financial world, she also volunteers annually as a judge for the SIFMA Foundation’s InvestWrite national student essay competition. She graduated with an English degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2015 where she briefly held the position of Editor-in-Chief for the Bi-College Newspaper and interned with The Booker Albert Literary Agency. By the end of 2021, Rachel hopes to have enough content to move forward with publishing a book of poetry.
ASHLEY TURNBULL
Ashley Turnbull is the author of The Incomplete Guide to Adulting and several short films. A sports professional by day, screenwriter and novelist by night, she received her bachelors in filmmaking and television and digital media from Montclair State University. A South Jersey native, she is a lover of naps, cookie dough, and hanging out with friends and family. Currently living the best life she can, and most likely multitasking too much.
OLLIE THE DOG
Oliver, the Do What's Write, best boy. Ollie is a 7lb, 3 year old Cavapoo (King Charles Cavalier Spaniel mixed with a mini Poodle). He currently lives with Ashley who is in charge of long walks, day trips to the dog park & beach, and scrumptious snacks. Ollie's favorite thing to do however is just cuddle on Ashley's lap, doesn't matter if she's writing, editing or recording the Do What's Write podcast.
